About Question Your Thinking

Question Your Thinking was created by Matthew J. Dyck.

It's a practical self-inquiry tool for moments when a thought feels like the whole world.

The practice is simple.

  • Name the thought.
  • See what you know.
  • Notice what believing it does.
  • Choose the next honest step.

This isn't about positive thinking. It isn't about pretending difficult things don't matter.

It's about seeing the difference between what happened and the story the mind has built around it.

For Matthew, this practice became a source of freedom from anxiety. Not because every difficult thought disappeared, but because he no longer had to treat every thought as a command, a verdict, or an identity.

Question Your Thinking is informed by self-inquiry, contemplative practice, psychological flexibility, and rational examination of beliefs. The tools on this site are original.

This is a self-reflection practice. It isn't therapy, crisis care, medical care, or professional advice. If you're in immediate danger, please reach out to local emergency services or a crisis line.
